Membership

Membership Eligibility

There are three types of membership available to all persons who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the Club.

Full Membership - Individual or Household (two adults)

Full voting membership and entitled to all club privileges.

Associate Membership - Individual or Household (two adults)

Non voting membership and not counted in the quorum for a meeting. Otherwise entitled to all club privileges.

Junior Membership - Any junior handler showing a dachshund in junior show between 8 - 17 years of age

Non voting and non dues paying membership

Note:

While membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club's primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in it's immediate area.

Requirements

Applicants shall submit an application to the Club's Corresponding Secretary.

Two members must endorse each application for membership.

Each applicant will submit payment for the current year dues.

Individual membership - $25.00

Household membership - $35.00

Associate membership - $15.00

Junior membership - no dues required

(If membership is denied, the dues will be refunded in full.)

Each applicant for membership must attend two meetings.

Applicants agree to abide by the Club's Constitution and by-laws, and the rules of the American Kennel Club.
